BODYBALANCE 35® Sizzler!

 BODYBALANCE® 35

 Looking forward to this release

Continuous flow from track to track is the key to this class. It enables members to stay focused throughout and even "lose themselves" a little in the course of the hour. Great flow also encourages participants to go deeply into the moves and breathing, heightening the workout and the resulting sense of satisfaction and calm.

Jackie has introduced a new feel to the tai chi warm-up, using a Wu form, which is closer to martial arts. The slicing and blocking moves are simple, strong and expressive, leaving members fully zoned into class by the end of track two.

Winter in July and Wild Butterfly are two fabulous songs to carry the opening stages of the class. Fully engaged by now, members work hard through the standing strength track to the empowering The River from Live, and take on a further challenge in variations to the eagle pose variations in the balances. Again, we have incredible music as we work the legs and arms to challenge the body.

BODYBALANCE® 35 goes back to basics for the core work (at your request!) - the simple moves recruit and strengthen the target muscles as the core work peaks with the hugely inspirational song, You Got the Love. Pink's Nobody Knows is a definite musical highlight at the twists track, with yet another to follow in the form of the evocative New Zealand song, Bathe in the River - this is Jackie's favorite.

The class concludes with 11 minutes of relaxation and meditation and feelings of serenity and calm for all.

This is a beautiful release that connects each track to the next.  The smoothe, almost seamless transitions make it feel like one long track, and the music is brings tears down your face (especially in the balance track).  There's a sting at the end to ignite your senses before the long and calm relaxation.

I LOVE THIS CLASS!  (It's my favorite music yet, I think)

Beautiful.  (speaking of beautiful, this is an awesome forum - I didn't know anything like this existed!)

Wow thanks for the review.

I am looking forward to November 11th when I get to do Bodybalance 35 where I am from. You are lucky to have done it already.

Is the release flowing as in no breaks?

Sounds like an awesome release.

Thank you for your comments. Please spread the word about the forum and the site.

The Tai-Chi warm up is kind of funny.....

Anyone got any similar ideas?

Hi,

Track 1 has taken me awhile to learn it. Getting the martial arts feel to the track and remaining true to the form is important to me. Learning a different track 1 with a different focus I find challenging.

What I have learned is that watch watch Lee on the DVD and watch Jackie as well.

I am so happy to see Lee on a DVD release again it has been such a long time and the way that Lee and Jackie bounce of each other is cool.

Wow! Is my home club ever behind on their releases!

We don't release #35 until January 25th, which means I have 2 weeks to learn the choreography and cues. Darn it!

Oh well, I picked it up yesterday and followed along and do I ever love this one, it definitely makes up for the atrocity that was 34 (the majority of members at our club hated 34, I didn't think much of it either.) It was rather funny, the classes doing 34 were low on participants the past few months and our training classes still doing 33 were packed every week.

So, good riddance 34, and welcome 35!
